Terms & Conditions (Terms of Service)

Welcome to SceneIn. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SceneIn mobile application and services ("Service"), operated by SceneIn Technologies Private Limited. By using our Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our Service.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
2. User Conduct & Content
- You are solely responsible for the content you post ("User Content"), including events, messages, and profile information.
- You agree not to post any content that is illegal, fraudulent, harassing, hateful, or infringes on any third-party rights.
- Content Moderation: SceneIn does not pre-screen all User Content. However, SceneIn reserves the right to remove any content or suspend any user at any time, for any reason, without notice.
- Fee Avoidance: You agree not to use the Service, especially the chat feature, to solicit or complete transactions off-platform in an attempt to bypass applicable platform fees ("fee avoidance"). Violation of this policy is grounds for permanent account suspension.
- Safety: You have access to tools to "Block" and "Report" other users. We encourage you to report any user who violates these Terms.
- SceneIn has a zero-tolerance policy for any content related to Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and will report such activity to law enforcement.
3. Content & IP License
You retain all ownership rights to your User Content. However, by posting User Content, you grant SceneIn a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute your User Content in connection with providing and promoting the Service.
4. The Ticket Marketplace (Key Terms)
Role of SceneIn: We are a platform provider and a neutral intermediary. We do not own, sell, or guarantee the events themselves.
"Fair Value Promise": Sellers agree not to list any ticket for a price exceeding its original face value. SceneIn reserves the right to remove any listing that violates this policy.
Seller's Responsibility: Sellers guarantee that the tickets they list are authentic, valid, and have not been previously used or sold elsewhere. A violation of this guarantee may result in, at SceneIn's sole discretion, the immediate cancellation of the payout, removal of all listings, and permanent account suspension.
Buyer's Responsibility: Buyers are responsible for checking event details. All sales are final unless a successful dispute is filed.
Escrow & Payouts: You agree to our secure escrow process, where SceneIn holds the buyer's payment until the transaction is confirmed successful, either by the user or by our automated 4-hour post-event timer.
5. Fees and Payments
SceneIn charges service fees (a "Platform Fee" to sellers and a "Buyer Protection Fee" to buyers) to cover the cost of secure payment processing, escrow, and dispute resolution. These fees are non-refundable and will be clearly displayed.
6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is." SceneIn is not responsible for the quality, safety, or execution of user-generated events. You attend all events at your own risk.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without notice, for any violation of these Terms.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Deoghar, Jharkhand.
